As my son and his friends head off to a funeral this morning, I am reminded more than ever about how precious this life is and how short it can be. Hug those that you love and be kind to others...you never know what loss they may be coping with.

My prayers and thoughts to all on such a sad, painful day.
I cannot fathom how parents endure such loss.

(And, yes - more hugs, love and compassion.)

Life is too short indeed .
I hope in their sorrow - they will find a way to celebrate the person`s life - and not death .
And it`s one of these times we all think of our own mortality - if only for a short while .

My own daughter has been to more funerals during high school and college than I have been to in my entire life, it is hard at anytime but even harder when young people are involved.
